Although I have been sewing and making shoes for our favorite dolls (Sasha, Gregor, babies, toddlers and even studio dolls) informally for years, I am launching Sasha's Vintage Boutique as a business beginning Jan.1, 2017.
I am going to try a blog to show the type of sewing I do, shoe colors and styles, etc. Hopefully it will give you a better idea of what I do. I do take my time and work to give an excellent fit on all clothes and shoes, and also I try to use very nice finishes so the clothes look almost as nice on the inside as the outside. I was sewing with a friend one day (Hi, AC!) and she commented, "For a machine sewer, you sure do a lot of hand sewing." If that is what it takes to get the best finish, that is what I am going to do!
One warning! I am not a terrific photographer, so please don't hold that against my creative efforts! Most people find if they like the dress in a photo, they LOVE it in person! lol!
